What are "European beads" ?
The "European beads" are beads with large holes set with eyelets that can be slipped on bracelets of this type :
I use eyelets in brass (colour silver) and I will soon propose beads with eyelets in silver 925.
The holes of the beads are 5 mm in diameter, so you can easily thread them on a string or chain to make a necklace.
Small trick : if the end ring of your chain does not pass, you can remove it and put it back after having put on the bead. If it is a welded ring, crush it slightly to give it an oval shape and make it thinner.
A single bead is often enough to make a nice effect, it is ideal for small gifts.
